What is The Unconventional Career Club?

The Unconventional Career Club is the place where you can get the support you need to create a career you love. Making time for your career development is tough, but taking charge of what you want your working life to feel like is empowering.

Who is the club for?

Everyone is welcome in The Unconventional Career Club. You don’t need to have big ambitions to work on your career and feel good in your job. There is so much more to career development than getting a promotion or doing more at work. Career fulfilment is about feeling good at work, ending each day satisfied with what you have accomplished.

Whether you want to be the next CEO of your company, or you just want to work so that you can live your life, the Unconventional Career Club will support you to make your career dreams a reality.

How will the club help?

Most people struggle to either make time for their career development or to know what to do. The Unconventional Career Club gives you structure, prompts, tools, and perspectives to use to think about what success at work means for you. It is not about being told what to do, instead it is about being encouraged to reflect on what feels right for you and take the actions that will move you towards your goals.

What you get from the club

By joining The Unconventional Career Club you are showing that you are committed to making time to work on your career, that your needs are a priority.

Each month there are 5 ways you can engage with the club:

  • Co-working sessions – a dedicated hour each month to prioritise your career and do that task you have been putting off with the support of other members.
  • Ask a coach – pop your question on the community post or book a 15-minute career drop-in session to talk through an area you want to work on in your career.
